Leflore CNA / EMHI White coat Partnership
The EMHI proudly partnered with Ms. Kathy Shelton (2014 EMHI Advocacy Award Recipient) in the continuation of her National HOSA Award winning CNA Program. Ms. Shelton's Leflore High School CNA Program has produced over 100 licensed CNAs since its inception in 2012, achieving a 100% pass rate for CNA examination in the State of Alabama. Each of her students are not only CNA licensed, but also employed prior to high school graduation.
EMHI provided financial and technical support in securing the monogrammed white laboratory coats awarded to CNA students annually during the Leflore High School's Honor Day.
Congratulations to the MCPSS, Ms. Shelton and her CNAs who have won back to back HOSA State Championships for 2015 and 2016, as well as the 2015 HOSA National Championship in Annaheim, California.
